Mike and Nicole Nelson are former teachers that have decided to put their career on hold to direct the ministry of Adventurous Christians. Nicole is a soon to be mom that enjoys reading, fishing, spending time in her garden, raising puppies, and solving non-linear equations. Mike enjoys mushing, fishing, hunting, reading, and is excited about becoming a dad.
Mike Nelson: Director
Mike is an elementary ed. teacher who has put his education career on hold to be a camp director. Mike loves to be outside and is fond of fishing, hunting, mushing, and spending time with his son, Aulis.
Nicole Nelson: Business Manager
Nicole is a math teacher who taught 5 years before coming to AC. She enjoys gardening, being a new mom, reading, and various outdoor activities.
Amy Peterson: Kitchen Supervisor
Amy has been investing in AC since December 2009. She is a fun, energetic individual that enjoys reading, outdoor activities, playing games, and following the Minnesota Twins.
Aulis Nelson: Camp Toddler
Aulis is Mike and Nicole's son. He is 2 and he enjoys reading, playing in his sand box, and roaming around camp. His favorite toy is his excavator and his newest favorite book is The Biggest Bear.
